BIG TECH Records
Privacy policy
What we collect on this website, why, and how to have it changed or deleted. Last updated 1 November 2026.
Who we are
This website is run by BIG TECH Records LLC, a record label based in Oregon, USA. Questions about your details go to
info@bigtechrecords.com.
DJ promo sign-up
When you join our DJ promo list on the Promo page, we collect your name, DJ name, email address,
and, if you give them, where we can hear you play and your city. If an artist sent you the link, we also note which artist
invited you.
We use these details only to send you promos of our new releases and to know who's playing them. Each promo email has
a private link to your own promo page, where you can leave a rating and a few words before downloading. If you say
we may, we quote your feedback on the release page and when we pitch the release to stores. We never quote you without
your permission.
Your details are kept in BIG TECH Records' own Google account (Google Forms, Sheets and Gmail). We don't sell, rent or
share them with anyone else.
Unsubscribing and deleting your details
- Every promo email has an unsubscribe link. Use it and you won't get our promos again.
- To have your details removed completely, or to see what we hold about you, email
info@bigtechrecords.com. We'll do it within 30 days and tell you when it's done. - We keep your sign-up until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Your feedback on a promo stays with that release.
Demo submissions
The form on our Contact page is run by Label Engine, the service we use to receive demos. What you
send there is handled under Label Engine's own privacy policy, and we use it only to listen to and answer your demo.
Website visits
Like most websites, ours keeps basic visit statistics through Google Analytics (which pages are visited, roughly from
where, and on what kind of device), and WordPress may set cookies that make the site work. We use these numbers only to
improve the site. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
Minimun Age
The DJ promo list is for people 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect details from anyone younger.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
